Gochujang Glazed Salmon

Ingredients
- 2 salmon filets, 6 to 8 ounces each
- Avocado oil
- Salt and pepper
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
- 3 tablespoons gochujang paste
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil + 1 tablespoon honey + 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated + 1 teaspoon lime juice + 1 teaspoon soy sauce
Directions
Preheat & Prep
Preheat the Wonder Oven to 400°F on Broil. Pat salmon dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Make the Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, sesame oil, honey, rice wine vinegar, ginger, lime juice, and soy sauce until smooth.

Place salmon on the bake pan (skin side down). Brush generously with half the glaze. Reserve the rest for later.
First Bake
Place on the bottom rack position and cook for 10 minutes. The salmon should be mostly cooked through but not fully done.
Final Glaze & Serve
Remove tray, brush with remaining glaze. Move to top rack, increase to 450°F, and cook 5 more minutes until internal temp hits 140°F. Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and lime wedges.

This recipe works beautifully with the Wonder Oven's broil + steam infusion combo. The steam keeps the salmon from drying out while the high heat caramelizes the glaze.
- If your gochujang is very thick, thin it with a teaspoon of water before mixing.
- Don't skip the second glaze application—it's what gives the glossy, lacquered finish.
- For extra heat, add 1/2 teaspoon gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) to the glaze.
